With great sadness we add this notice to our Family web site.
On the afternoon of Thursday 12th June 2014, Michael was riding his cycle home from work when he was struck by a vehicle and killed.
We believe three vehicles were involved. Michael was taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Our love and thoughts go to everyone who knew Michael for their kind words and thoughts.
Friends of Michael have launched a website;" dedicated to Michael and his wife's charity,
"North West Air Ambulance".

The below links launch articles from The Chester Chronicle, The first is post accident and the second post sentence of offender.

I have written this web site primarily to promote interest in our family and its ancestry. The family's tree grows in every direction as I discover previously unknown ancestors and new additions arrive into the world. Some discoveries have been astonishing and quite unexpected and I have included some short stories of their lives to add to the feel of history. We owe much of our success in life to those who have gone before us. Their accomplishments contribute to us and I feel proud to be descended from them.

I discovered, albeit a little late, that although I have amassed hundreds of names in the family tree, in Wales, England and Holland, I have however neglected to document their source. I am grateful to my aunt, Ruby Millicent Davies, her Cousin, Gilmour Davies and my father in law, Thomas Stephen Ravenscroft, for providing the original material and for pointing me in the right direction. The photographs have in general been passed to me by my parents, Stanley Garnet Davies and Cornelia Maria Davies, nee Van Breugel.

Much of the site is linked to my three children, Mark Evan, Amanda Jane and Michael James Richard Davies. Their interests, their partners, the three grandsons, James, Dylan and Oliver and the two granddaughters Ruby and Lottie.
Several photographs tell their respective stories.

The internet has given me the opportunity to publish but as I am neither artistic, nor a web designer, please indulge me in the site's construction and presentation. The site is provided for your information and amusement.
